What do I do

Simply ask your applicant to download and complete the HHYC new member application (English) (Chinese) form stating that you are the proposer or seconder on the form. 

No applicant or sponsor signatures are required. 

Notes: 

1. HHYC will then contact you for an endorsement of the applicant and their involvement in watersports before their proposed new member interview. 

2. HHYC membership interview panel will invite suitable applicants to attend an interview in Cantonese or English, as preferred, and will notify applicants directly about the outcome of the interview. 

Eligibility to act as Proposer or Seconder 

To propose or second a potential new member, you must:

1. Have been a member of HHYC for at least 2 years.

2. Currently be an active member of HHYC. 

3. Consider the applicant to be suitable to become a member of HHYC.

4. Be able to provide information to postively support the application. 

*Offer does not apply to Cadet or Junior membership.

*In case of any dispute, the decison of HHYC shall be final.
