Opening Hours & Club Information

Hebe Haven is a private members’ Club and non – members may only enter on invitation by a member, subject to certain conditions or by registration on to a sailing course a Club event or for a race day.

Arrangements During Weather Warnings

Rainstorm Warnings

Amber & Red Rainstorm Warnings – Provided that transport services are available, normal Club operations will remain.

Black Rainstorm Warnings – The Club will operate as normal unless considered dangerous by the General Manager.   Marine services will cease until the warning is lowered.  If the Black Rainstorm Warning is raised before 8:00am on weekdays and 7:00am on weekends and Public Holidays, Club Staff will not be expected to come in.  The Club will resume its operation 2 hours after lowering of the warning, unless after 6:00pm whereby the Club will remain closed. 

Thunderstorm Warnings

Should a Thunderstorm Warning be announced by the HK Observatory, the Sailing Centre Manager may decide on whether dinghy courses on the day are cancelled or postponed.

Typhoons

Typhoon Signals No. 1 and 3 – The Club will operate as normal.   Sampan service will be at the discretion of Marine Manager or the General Manager when Typhoon Signal No. 3 is hoisted.

Typhoon Signals No. 8 and above – The Club will cease all operations and it will resume its operation 2 hours after the lowering of the signal, unless after 6:00pm whereby the Club will remain closed.

Children's playground will be closed when Rainstorm Warning. Thunderstorm Waring. Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above is in force.
