𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞: Saturday, 6th December𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Port Shelter, Sai Kung.On this beautiful Saturday, we were reminded of the incredible opportunities we have in Hong Kong for sailing and racing. Despite a poor weather forecast, we were greeted by a stunning sea breeze and clear blue skies as we arrived at Port Shelter around 12:30 PM.𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰:Over the first three days in November, we had completed four races, leading to an exciting climax in all three divisions. The results were so close that they came down to the final race in two of the divisions. The day featured:Races Conducted: Two geometric races and two lap races (Course #5 in the SSI).Time of Racing: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM.Conditions: A consistent 8-10 knots of seabreeze.This setup allowed for highly competitive sailing, showcasing the best of our fleet.𝐀𝐜𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬A huge thank you goes out to our dedicated volunteers and the sailing team for their efforts in running the races and laying the marks throughout the series.Special thanks to Lizzie and Sara, along with many other volunteers who contributed on individual race days.𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠The prize-giving ceremony took place on a packed balcony, where we celebrated the winners.
